Copyright Law

Yes, it’s complicated!

We could fill this website with information (often arbitrary) on Copyright Law, but keeping on top of the latest legal ramblings would cost us a fortune and make this website ridiculously hard to navigate.

So, we get you to do the work, and in the process of course you save money by taking advantage of our super low prices.

You will find out EVERYTHING you need to know be following the links below, but we can answer the most frequently asked question here.

Q: I am a musician and want to copyright my lyrics. I’ve been told that I can simply send them to myself to get them postmarked and not open the letter. Is this correct?
A: This was very popular before the Internet came along, but is now a very poor way of attempting copyright. If you submit your lyrics/music to us in .pdf format it will be watermarked and time and date stamped the moment you upload it to our site.

You can upload your audio and video files of your work also; these will also be time and date stamped immediately

The above question naturally applies to all creative types of work, and can also be applied to other types of intellectual property owners, such as architects and inventors.
